Homemade Protein Bars

Homemade Protein Bars:

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1 cup steel cut oats

  2. 4 scoops vanilla whey protein powder

  3. 2 tbsp. flaxseeds, ground

  4. 1/2 cup all-natural, peanut butter

  5. 1/4 cup powdered peanut butter

  6.  dropper liquid stevia, vanilla SweetLeaf

  7. 1 ripe banana

  8. ½ cup all natural apple sauce

  9. 1 tsp vanilla or almond extract

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  2. Grease 8 x 8 pan (preferably with coconut oil spray)

  3. Mix the oats, flour, powdered peanut butter and flax seed. Once combined, add peanut butter, vanilla and stevia.

  4. Mash the RIPE banana into the mixture and combine.

  5. Spread batter into pan and bake about 12-15 minutes.

-Makes 8 servings -1 serving= 2×2 inch square
