CLINICAL DIETETICS

My clinical rotation consisted of 4 different in-patient care settings over 16 weeks. This in-patient care position enhanced my critical thinking and mathematic skills. I became proficient in medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and my focus was on Covid-19, diabetic education, and providing tube feedings for patients.

At Banner Ironwood, I tended to patients in the ICU or acute care setting where I administered enteral and parenteral tube feedings.
