Magic Green Sauce


Magic Green Sauce in Food Processor
5 Minute Magic Green Sauce! Made with avocados, parsley, cilantro, garlic, and lime.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 avocado, small

  2. 1 cup packed parsley and cilantro leaves (combined)

  3. 1 jalapeño, ribs and seeds removed

  4. 2 cloves garlic

  5. juice of one lime

  6. ½ cup water

  7. 1 tbsp. olive oil

  8. 1 pinch of salt

  9. 1/3 cup pistachios





Directions:

  1. Pulse all ingredients – except pistachios – in a food processor until incorporated.

  2. Add pistachios and pulse until mostly smooth (depends on what consistency you want).

  3. Serve as a dip, spread, or sauce — or add additional water or oil to thin the sauce for use as a dressing or a marinade.

  4. Store in a mason jar in the fridge (for up to 7-10 days).

 1 tbsp.= 1 fat serving


NOTES

I did make this with other types of nuts like walnuts and almonds and it worked just fine, but the taste wasn’t as good IMHO.
