Easy Oven-Dried BBQ Kale Chips

Ingredients:
2 small heads kale (or one very large head), stems removed, washed and dried (don’t chop the leaves) Olive Oil Spray 1 large clove garlic, chopped 1 tsp (5 ml) smoked paprika OR The Spice Hunter CowBoy Salt Free BBQ spice 2 Tbsp (30 ml) Bragg’s aminos, (or use 1 Tbsp coconut aminos for soy-free) 1/4 cup nutritional yeast 1/2 to 3/4 cup (120-180 ml) water, as needed 3-5 drops plain liquid stevia, optional
Directions:
Cut kale (or use Tuscan kale from Trader Joe’s) and spray with olive oil spray and set aside.
Aside from the kale, toss all the ingredients besides water into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add water until you get the consistency of a cheese sauce.
If you want to use this for kale chips, amp up the seasonings to add flavor to the kale, more so than if you were to eat it on its own.

Place the kale on a baking sheet over parchment paper then pour the blended ingredients over the kale (drizzle evenly)
OVEN: place on a baking tray and bake at 135° C (275° F) for about 25 minutes – flipping over half way through.
DEHYDRATOR: place on the rack and set to dry at 50° C (130° F) for about 10-12 hours or overnight.
